2024 Projections
2024 Fantasy Outlook
Ali would have been an excellent addition under old offensive coordinator Greg Roman, but it's not quite as clear how he fits into the Ravens' new scheme. A fifth-round pick out of Marshall, Ali shows plus vision and balance and has a three-down skill set, but he needs big holes to produce big plays as he has trouble running around or through defenders. His checkered injury history didn't help his draft stock, either. Derrick Henry will see a big workload for Baltimore, and Keaton Mitchell and Justice Hill are proven backups, so Ali could be stuck on the practice squad. Read Past Outlooks
Right on schedule
Ali (biceps) is participating in some of the Ravens' minicamp drills and is expected to be fully recovered ahead of training camp, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
ANALYSIS
The rookie fifth-round pick ruptured his biceps tendon at the Senior Bowl back in late January, but the Marshall product is expected to be fully recovered ahead of Baltimore's training camp in August. Ali is poised to compete for a pivotal role in the backfield, as J.K. Dobbins (Achilles) and Gus Edwards are now both with the Chargers and Keaton Mitchell (knee) is still recovering after tearing his ACL in December.

Latest Fantasy Rumors
Potential fifth-round prospect
Ali is projected to be a fifth-round draft pick, according to the comprehensive 2024 NFL Draft Guide compiled by Dane Brugler of The Athletic.
ANALYSIS
Ali impressed when healthy at Marshall, rushing for 1,401 yards and 23 touchdowns in 2021, as well as 1,135 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2023. He missed the first 10 games of the 2022 season due to a knee injury, and staying healthy will be key for Ali to secure a foothold in the NFL. Brugler compares Ali's skill set to that of Marlon Mack, who missed all of last season due to a knee injury but has made 23 NFL starts since being a fourth-round draft pick of the Colts in 2017.
