Scheduled in April
Medic will take on Tim Means in a welterweight matchup at UFC Vegas 91 on April 27, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Medic lost via submission to Myktybek Orolbai back in November, but had been riding a two-fight winning streak prior to that, recording finishes in each. He's a high-volume striker, as is Means, but Medic holds the slight statistical edge in that area with 5.64 significant strikes landed per minute of fight time. Medic will give up an inch in height and four inches in reach to Means.

Taps out to newcomer
Medic lost to Myktybek Orolbai via submission (neck crank) at 4:12 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.
ANALYSIS
Orolbai accepted this fight four days ago, and it's quite clear at this point Medic wished he hadn't. Uros came out on fire, throwing bombs and connecting on quite a few, but once Orolbai flipped the script and leaned on his wrestling game, Medic was done. He displayed very little awareness in regards to defending on the mat, and his gas tank was quickly drained. He finally tapped out late in Round 2. The 30-year-old Alaska native is 3-2 in his first five UFC bouts, with all three wins coming via knockout and the two defeats via submission. Expect Medic to hover around the .500 mark moving forward.

Scheduled against newcomer
Medic (undisclosed) will compete against Myktybek Orolbai in a welterweight fight at UFC Vegas 82 on Nov. 18, according to Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.
ANALYSIS
Medic was scheduled to fight Jonny Parsons, but he withdrew. Thus, the UFC signed a newcomer on short notice to fight Medic. Orbolai is 11-1-1 with 10 finishes across his 13 fights.

To fight Parsons
Medic is slated to take on Jonny Parsons at UFC Vegas 82 on Nov. 18, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.
ANALYSIS
Medic is riding a two-fight winning streak with wins over Omar Morales (TKO) and Matthew Semelsberger (TKO). The wins bring his overall UFC record to 3-1. His opponent, Parsons, is coming off a win over Danny Roberts via TKO in his debut bout with the company.

Picks up late stoppage win
Medic defeated Matthew Semelsberger via TKO (strikes) at 2:36 of Round 3 at UFC 291 on Saturday in Salt Lake City.
ANALYSIS
As the old saying goes, it's now how you start, it's how you finish. Medic showed next to nothing in Round 1 and was in massive trouble following a Semelsberger knockdown. He survived and ended up regaining the momentum in Round 2. All three judges scored a close second frame for Medic, although that was far from guaranteed. A big right hand, a spinning shot and some follow-up strikes closed the show midway through Round 3. A product of Dana White's Contender Series, Medic is 3-1 in the UFC. All three victories have come via knockout and the one defeat was at the hands of a legitimate contender is Jalin Turner. Not a bad start.
