January 25, 2017
Olivieri was suspended for two years by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency for failing an out-of-competition drug test, Damon Martin of Fox Sports reports.
ANALYSIS
Olivieri's ruling is retroactive to March 10, 2016, when he was provisionally suspended for the infraction, meaning he will be eligible to return in March of 2018. The original test happened on Jan. 11, 2016, before he lost a fight to Tony Martin. Olivieri had attempted to fight the positive test results by saying protocol was breached in the handling of the sample.

Olivieri lost to Tony Martin via technical submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:02 of Round 3 at UFC on FOX 18 on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey.
ANALYSIS
Olivieri started quickly in his UFC debut, peppering Martin with leg kicks throughout the first round, but he got beat up pretty good on the feet in the second stanza and he was dead tired by the time the final round rolled around. The Brazilian will get another fight with the company, but he's nothing more than roster depth.
