Khabilov signed a multi-fight contract with Bellator on Friday, Ariel Helwani of ESPN reports.
ANALYSIS
Khabilov had plenty of success with the UFC, posting a 10-3 record, but he'll head to a new promotion nonetheless. He's won seven of his last eight fights, with the only blemish coming by unanimous decision against Diego Ferreira in February of 2019.

Improved to 7-1 in last eight bouts

Khabilov defeated Sergey Khandozhko via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Moscow, Russia.
ANALYSIS
It was a typical Khabilov fight in the sense that it was slow paced, not particularly entertaining to watch, and that he emerged victorious. Struggling on the feet and seeing an opening to implement his wrestling game, Khabilov fired off 12 takedown attempts. He landed only four of them, but that was enough to earn the judge's decision. Khabilov is an interesting fighter to get a read on. On one hand, he is sporting a 7-1 record dating back to February 2016. On the other, most of the victories have come against poor competition, they have all come via decision, and the only time he went up against a talented opponent -- Diego Ferreira in his most recent fight in February -- he lost. The UFC needs to be careful about who they match Khabilov up against moving forward. His strong record doesn't reflect his future potential.

Khabilov will take on Sergey Khandozhko in a lightweight bout at UFC Moscow on Nov. 9, MMAJunkie.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Khabilov is coming off a loss to Diego Ferreira via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 145 in February, while Khandozhko's last fight was a defeat of Rostem Akman via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 153. Khabilov has a 23-4 record as a professional fighter, although Khandozhko carries a height advantage and a slight reach advantage.
Has no answers for opponent in loss

February 23, 2019
Khabilov lost to Diego Ferreira via unanimous decision (27-30, 27-30, 29-28) at UFC Fight Night 145 in Prague, Czech Republic on Saturday.
ANALYSIS
Khabilov was unable to get his wrestling game going in this one, forcing him to have a kickboxing match with the quicker, more active striker in Ferreira. The Russian fighter had mounted an impressive win streak by virtue of being the more physical control grappler but is a slow-paced counter-fighter on the feet, which simply wasn't good enough Saturday. Khabilov will likely be able to control his opponent in most fights but he needs to add some fluidity to his standup game in order to reach the next level. He falls to 23-4 in proffesional MMA as a result of the loss.

Khabilov will still fight Diego Ferreira at UFC Prague on Saturday despite Ferreira missing weight by one pound, Guilherme Cruz of MMAFighting.com reports.
ANALYSIS
Ferreira will forfeit over 20 percent of the purse in order for the fight to continue. Khabilov has won his past six fights and enters Saturday's bout as the favorite.
