DraftKings NHL: Tuesday Picks

This article is part of our DraftKings NHL series.

GOALIE

Pekka Rinne, NAS vs. CHI ($7,800): Not only has Rinne won eight of his past nine starts with a .923 save percentage and 2.52 GAA, he still hasn't lost in regulation at Bridgestone Arena this season. Additionally, the Blackhawks travel to Nashville for their second game in consecutive nights, so this is a solid schedule spot for the Preds and Rinne.

CENTER

Tyler Seguin, DAL at VGK ($7,200): The Golden Knights are playing in more high-event games of late and allowed 3.17 goals per 60 minutes through their past 10 contests. Seguin has been scorching hot for a prolonged stretch with 10 goals, 21 points and 61 shots through his past 19 contests, as his recent heater has his salary well within profit range.

Mathew Barzal, NYI vs. VAN ($5,400): Currently sporting a six-game point streak with three goals, six assists and 13 shots, Barzal continues to provide high-end numbers while carrying a manageable salary. The second-line center is also skating with the No. 1 power-play unit, and he lands in a favorable schedule spot. Vancouver is playing its fifth road game in eight nights and has lost the past two.

WING

Filip Forsberg, NAS vs. CHI ($6,800): Home ice has been kind to Forsberg, as the winger has collected eight goals, 16 points and 31 shots through 10 games at Bridgestone Arena this season. As noted, the Blackhawks enter on the second leg of a back-to-back set, and Chicago has allowed the fourth most high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes (12.67) for the campaign.

Joe Pavelski, SAN at PHI ($5,700): The veteran has gone 27 shots and 10 games without a goal, however, he has collected an assist in three straight contests. With Pavelski's salary way down, and Philaelphia playing its second game in consecutive nights, chasing statistical correction with the eight-time, 20-goal scorer could prove to be a contrarian steal.

Michael Cammalleri, EDM vs. ARI ($4,000): Projected to continue skating with Connor McDavid on the No. 1 line, Cammalleri is worth considering as a value play. The veteran winger collected an assist and registered two shots flanking No. 97 Sunday, and Arizona is allowing the most goals per 60 minutes (3.55) and has the third highest expect goals against in the league.

DEFENSE

Dougie Hamilton, CGY vs. TOR ($4,900): Skating with the No. 1 power-play unit and averaging 3.9 shots per game through his past 13 outings, Hamilton is a strong lean. The RotoWire lineup optimizer is also bullish, and Toronto ranks third last in expected goal against in the league. With an accommodating salary, the 24-year-old defenseman stands out as a ripe value.

Shea Theodore, VGK vs. DAL ($3,600): With a goal, three assists, seven shots and nine blocked shot while logging 21:29 of ice time (3:19 on the power play), Theodore is an obvious value. Dallas has cleaned up its penalty kill this season with just 14 goals surrendered while shorthanded, and the Stars have also been a tough five-on-five matchup allowing only 9.98 high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes. Still, Theodore and the Golden Knights have been money on home ice with a 9-1 record.
