Baker will join the Jets for training camp after signing a professional tryout agreement.

ANALYSIS
Baker, a product of Northern Michigan University, played in the ECHL last season with the Quad City Mallards before joining AHL Manitoba for nine games. During his collegiate career, the 25-year-old managed just 25 points in 144 contests, which let to him going undrafted. The blueliner has already signed an AHL deal with Manitoba, but will be looking to secure a two-way contract if he can impress the front office and coaching staff during training camp.
