The 23-year-old has shown great promise at the AHL level, but he has yet to really receive a chance to play for the Flyers. He made a four-game stint in the NHL in late November but after four pointless games with a minus-1 rating, Martel returned to the AHL and didn't play again for the Flyers last season. For the Phantoms in the AHL, Martel scored 25 goals and 40 points in 59 games. For that reason, he's worth monitoring in dynasty or keeper leagues.
