The Flyers traded Testwuide to the Flames on Monday in exchange for Mitch Wahl.
ANALYSIS
In Testwuide's first professional season with AHL Adirondack in 2010-11, he put up 39 points (18G, 21A) and a plus-12 rating in 76 games. His numbers dropped off last year, and so far this season, he has just two points (both goals) and a minus-1 rating through 19 games. It seems the Flyers soured on Testwuide's potential, and moved him for Wahl, who's just 23 years old. Look for Testwuide to join AHL Abbotsford.

Testwuide has had several solid AHL seasons with Adirondack and is likely to see his first NHL minutes in the 2012-13 season. He’s still a long way from cracking the top-9 on a deep Flyers team with any regularity, but he could carve out a limited role in the NHL.
Testwuide had 39 points and 62 PIms in 76 games in the AHL in his first season after leaving Colorado College. He got off to a sluggish start in the AHL, but was able to right the ship. He remains an outside shot at making the Flyers' roster right out of camp.
Testwuide was one of the most sought after college prospects this past spring, but he hasn't wrapped up a spot with the Flyers quite yet. At any rate, he'll likely be on an NHL roster at some point this season.
