The undrafted free agent suited up for just two games and only played on special teams during his rookie campaign. However, with Lance Dunbar's Week 1 status in jeopardy following another knee injury that landed him on the PUP list, Green has a legitimate chance to carve out a role with a strong preseason. Malcolm Brown is likely best suited as an early-down runner behind bell-cow Todd Gurley, so Green's avenue to playing time would likely be in passing situations. Green could have a difficult time holding off rookie Justin Davis, though.

Green is fighting with a slew of other tailbacks for what would be one roster spot, but he nonetheless appears to be a leading candidate for that position. Regardless, Todd Gurley is the workhorse here and Benny Cunningham operates as the team's passing-down specialist. Probabilistically, there simply will not be enough touches to go around in 2016 for Green to make a fantasy splash. Still, he first needs to make the team.
