ANALYSIS
Davis played a complementary role for the Tide during the 2016-17 campaign, but was then sidelined for the entire 2017-18 season following a knee injury. With an uncertain path to playing time at Alabama fresh off an significant ailment, Davis has elected to transfer to UC Santa Barbara, where he should see big minutes and will be closer to home after growing up on the west coast. Due to Davis' status as a grad transfer, he'll be eligible immediately and is likely set for a fairly sizable role if the knee is back to full strength in the fall.
