The most recent fantasy college basketball news from RotoWire.

Tiwian Kendley    G    Morgan State
Kendley led the Bears with a career-high 41 points (13-19 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 11-12 FT) with six boards and five assists in the overtime loss to Bethune-Cookman on Monday. He fouled out after 42 minutes.

Fantasy Analysis

Kendley exploded onto the MEAC scene with at least 28 points in his first six games. He cooled off after that, but is starting to hit baskets in volume again. In his last four games, Kendley has provided 29.0 points on 50.7 percent from the field.
Kalin Fisher    G    Hampton
Fisher scored a career-high 37 points (11-21 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 11-14 FT) and grabbed six rebounds in the overtime win against Savannah State on Monday.

Fantasy Analysis

The 6-2 Fisher improved upon his previous high score by eight points and helped the Pirates win their sixth straight game. They are just a half game behind first place in the MEAC. Fisher has scored in double digits in each game of the streak and is averaging 12.6 points and 4.5 rebounds.
Silvio De Sousa    F    Kansas
De Sousa received some minutes in the blowout win over Oklahoma on Monday. He scored 10 points (3-3 FG, 4-4 FT) and grabbed six boards.

Fantasy Analysis

The 6-9 freshman has not had the expected impact after reclassifying and joining the Jayhawks early. Prior to Monday, he has not played more than seven minutes and had only hit two baskets. The Jayhawks could still use De Sousa's size, so maybe he'll crack the rotation going forward.
Lagerald Vick    G    Kansas
Vick scored 17 points (7-11 FG, 3-4 3Pt) with six rebounds and four assists in the win over Oklahoma on Monday.

Fantasy Analysis

Vick has hit a hot streak from the field in the Jayhawks' three-game winning streak. He has provided 15.3 points on 53.1 percent from the field and 47.1 percent on 3-pointers. Kansas plays at Texas Tech on Saturday in what could be the determining game of the regular season Big 12 championship. Vick was held to two points on 1-of-9 from the field in the Jan. 2 loss to the Red Raiders.
Trae Young    G    Oklahoma
Young was held to a season-low 11 points (3-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with nine assists and five turnovers in the loss to Kansas on Monday.

Fantasy Analysis

In the Sooners' six-game losing streak, Young has converted just 33.6 percent from the field and 19.6 percent of his 3-pointers. He is capable of hitting very difficult shots, but they have not been dropping of late. The freshman will look to break the slump on Saturday against Kansas State. He had 20 points and six assists in the loss to the Wildcats on Jan. 16.
Kameron McGusty    G    Oklahoma
McGusty equaled his season high with 22 points (9-15 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT) with three rebounds in the loss to Kansas on Monday.

Fantasy Analysis

Coach Lon Kruger is looking for answers to help the Sooners snap a now six-game losing streak. McGusty moved into the starting lineup and had a nice shooting game. In his last three games, the sophomore is averaging 14.7 points on 64.0 percent from the field.
Duane Gibson    G    Evansville
Gibson (knee) totaled four points (0-1 FG, 4-4 FT), three assists and two blocks in Sunday's loss to Loyola-Chicago.

Fantasy Analysis

Gibson returned to the court after being sidelined for the past two games from a chronic knee injury he has battled for the better half of this season. The injury has forced the senior guard to alternate between playing and sitting for multiple games at a time dating as far back as December, and it's tough to predict what kind of playing time he may see for the remainder of the season.
Michael Finke    F    Illinois
Finke (concussion) traveled with the team for Tuesday's game against Michigan State, but is not expected to play, Scott Richey of The News-Gazette reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Coach Brad Underwood expects Finke to miss his fourth straight game since suffering a concussion during practice on Feb. 10. Prior to the injury, Finke had started all 25 games for the Illini this season, averaging 9.6 points and 5.8 boards per game.
Dupree McBrayer    G    Minnesota
McBrayer (lower leg) will play in Monday's game at Wisconsin, Marcus Fuller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.

Fantasy Analysis

McBrayer's reinsertion into the starting lineup marks the end of his two-game absence. The junior guard has chipped in 9.5 PPG, 2.3 RPG and 2.5 APG for the Golden Gophers. With McBrayer back, Jamir Harris will fall back to the bench.
Kentrell Barkley    F    East Carolina
Barkley (suspension) has not been definitively ruled out from returning for Wednesday's game against SMU, Josh Graham of IBX Media reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Coach Michael Perry would not explicitly dismiss the possibility of Barkley returning for Wednesday's game against SMU. The junior forward has missed two consecutive games after being suspended for a violation of team rules on Feb. 14 prior to ECU's contest against Tulane.
Mike Williams    G    Rutgers
Williams added four points (2-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in Saturday's loss to Maryland.

Fantasy Analysis

Williams has now appeared in three games since returning from an ankle injury initially feared to be season-ending that he sustained on Jan. 13 in the last 10 minutes of practice. The senior guard logged a season-high 27 minutes against the Terps, and he is averaging more than 20 minutes along with nearly five points per game since returning to action on Feb. 10 against Nebraska.
Bonzie Colson    F    Notre Dame
Colson (foot) dressed for Monday's game against Miami but is not expected to play, Tom Noie of the South Bend Tribune reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Colson's progress has been heavily monitored by the college basketball world since breaking his foot a few months back. An interesting development here is the notion Colson will be back to 100 percent sometime this week. If that hope comes to fruition, look for the Irish standout to make a reappearance on the hardwood sooner than later.
Bryant McIntosh    G    Northwestern
McIntosh (shoulder) will not play in Monday's game against Maryland, Don Markus of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Fantasy Analysis

McIntosh's absence will mark the consecutive game without him on the court. The Wildcats appeared much less poised during the second half of Saturday's collapse to Michigan State without their primary ball-handler in the lineup. If Jordan Ash is available, he and Isiah Brown are the likely candidates to fill in during McIntosh's absence.
Rodrick Caldwell    G    Bowling Green
Caldwell provided five points (1-5 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and one assist in Friday's loss to Buffalo.

Fantasy Analysis

Caldwell has seen limited minutes in his first two games since returning to the court last Tuesday after a wrist injury held him out of last Saturday's contest against Eastern Michigan. The sophomore guard has shot just 2-of-8 from the floor over these two performances, but remained deadly from the free-throw line by hitting 7-of-8.
Tyrik Dixon    G    Middle Tennessee St.
Dixon is considered to be day-to-day after suffering a concussion during Saturday's game against Louisiana Tech, Erik Bacharach of The Murfreesboro Daily News Journal reports.

Fantasy Analysis

The assumed became fact Monday following a more thorough examination of Dixon's symptoms. Per the report, Dixon is still dealing with some headaches but will look to get back in time for Saturday's game against UAB. The team will monitor his progress throughout the week and likely make a decision before Saturday's tip.
