DraftKings NBA: Sunday Cheat Sheet

Sunday brings only four games in the NBA, two of which start in the afternoon. You'll have to get your DraftKings entry in earlier as a result, so let's get right down to business and look at some players you should target for your entry.

Guards:

Victor Oladipo, IND at BKN ($9,300): Oladipo played well in his first game against the Nets earlier this season, scoring 22 points to go along with five rebounds, four assists, four steals and two three-pointers. The Nets are a strong matchup for Oladipo as they play at the second-fastest pace (104.1) and allow the third-most points per game (111) in the league. He's the most expensive guard Sunday, but he should be worth the high price tag.

Spencer Dinwiddie, BKN vs. IND ($6,800): Dinwiddie continues to get extended playing time, logging at least 30 minutes in nine of his last 11 games. In the two games he didn't, one he got into foul trouble early and the other was a blowout loss. He's done a great job in an injury-depleted backcourt, recording a 22.3 percent usage rate in 17 games as a starter. The Pacers allow the ninth-most DraftKings points per game (46.6) to opposing point guards, making Dinwiddie a viable option again Sunday.

George Hill, SAC at TOR ($4,500): Hill will likely be in for an expanded role Sunday as De'Aaron Fox (quad) is considered doubtful to play. Hill has scored at least 24 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and averaged 13.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists in seven games where he played at least 30 minutes this season. He could be one of the better value plays on the day if Fox indeed does not play.

Forwards

LeBron James, CLE at WAS ($11,800): On a day without a lot of games, James is the only player priced over $10,000 on DraftKings. He continues to roll along, scoring at least 60 DraftKings points in six straight games. He's playing a ton and his 30.4 percent usage rate is 11th-best in the league, so don't hesitate to make him part of your entry.

Jonathon Simmons, ORL at DET ($6,600): The Magic are going to be without Aaron Gordon (calf) and Evan Fournier (ankle) Sunday, leaving more scoring opportunities for Simmons. Fournier has already missed the team's last four games, a situation Simmons has taken advantage of by scoring at least 31.3 DraftKings in three of those contests. With all the minutes he can handle likely coming his way Sunday, Simmons is someone worth considering.

Lance Stephenson, IND at BKN ($4,200): Stephenson has had streaks where he has been a valuable cheap DFS play. He's in the midst of another right now, scoring at least 22 DraftKings points in four straight games. Considering the Nets struggles on defense and lack of size, Stephenson may be one of the better options available if you want to save money at forward.

Centers

Andre Drummond, DET vs. ORL ($9,500): Drummond had scored 23 total points over three games entering Friday, but he broke out of his offensive slump with 23 points against the Pacers. He's averaging 5.0 offensive rebounds a game, giving him added chances to score even though his offensive skills are limited. The Magic allow the eighth-most DraftKings points per game (53.6) to opposing centers, making Drummond an excellent option again Sunday.

Serge Ibaka, TOR vs. SAC ($6,200): Ibaka is playing really well right now, scoring at least 30.5 DraftKings points in six straight games. His improved offensive play has been a big reason for his success as he has averaged 19.3 points and 2.8 three-pointers over that stretch. He's not the rebounder or shot blocker that he once was, but he can provide a lot of value when he's hot offensively like this. Take a chance that he keeps this streak going against a bad Kings squad Sunday.

Jahlil Okafor, BKN vs. IND ($3,800): Okafor finally made his debut with the Nets Friday, scoring 16 DraftKings points in 23 minutes against the Raptors. The game was an ugly blowout, but it was encouraging to see him get that many minutes. The Nets have very little talent at center, so expect them to continue to give Okafor plenty of opportunities to establish himself as their anchor in the middle. The Pacers allow the most DraftKings points per game (60.2) to opposing centers, so Okafor might be worth the risk at his cheap price.
