This was the tightest game of these Conference Finals, as there were nine ties and 16 lead changes in the second half alone. In fact. neither team led by more than six points for the entirety of the second half. Turnovers really killed the Warriors, as the Rockets won that battle, 16-10. Bench production was also critical for Houston, as they got 33 combined points from their two bench players while Golden State's five bench players totaled just four points between them.
Kevin Durant led the Warriors with 29 points and four rebounds. Klay Thompson amassed 23 points and four boards. Stephen Curry accrued 22 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals. Draymond Green collected 12 points, 15 rebounds and four assists.
James Harden and Chris Paul combined to go just 11-of-40 from the field but Paul finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals while Harden accrued 19 points, three rebounds and four assists. Clint Capela totaled 12 points and 14 rebounds. Eric Gordon led the bench with 24 points and four boards.
